THE ANALOG FOUNDATION
Long before digital correction plugins and acoustic software took over, my audio journey began on a humble Tascam 4-track cassette deck. Learning audio on limited analog gear builds an unbreakable foundation: you learn that tone happens at the source, room acoustics dictate clarity, and decisions must be made with intent.
MAJOR STUDIO MENTORSHIP
Spent over 7 years managing commercial studio facilities and engineering alongside legendary rock producer Ron Nevison (Led Zeppelin, The Who, Bad Company, Heart). Working at that caliber taught me the true art of vocal tracking, physical signal path choices, and how to make records that stand the test of time.
CAPTURING LIVE ENERGY & TOURING
As lead engineer for Banana Stand Media, I spent years multitracking and mixing live performances on location across hundreds of acts. Coupled with my ongoing active career as a recording and touring musician in MAITA and Good Grief, I view every session through both an engineer’s technical eye and an artist’s intuitive ear.
